Beautiful Puglian Cave Townhouse in Ostuni Town with Bathtub & Courtyard
10.0Dimora Valusco is an ideal place to stay in the heart of Ostuni town while experiencing an authentic Puglian cave like house without feeling claustrophobic. The bathroom is beautifully finished in natural stone & tiles making it incredibly unique with spacious large bathtub ideal for relaxing & shower. The accommodation was super spacious & kept clean throughout. Beds were comfortable and a second room for a sofabed was a major bonus. The entrance courtyard was an excellent outdoor space, there is also a functional small kitchenette & alcoves including a former bread oven with pottery to create a unique cave like experience. Alexia was super welcoming, friendly & helpful when we met her during check in.
Disappointing accommodation, misrepresented on the website, appearing far darker and gloomier than the photos suggested.

− The apartment was dark and gloomy. The “private terrace” turned out to be a shared space, overlooked by large, unattractive apartment blocks. The bathroom was tiny, and the shower so cramped my partner could barely fit into it. Inside the apartment, there was no seating, no wardrobe, and a flimsy bed. The website photos were misleading, showing features from two different apartments, including a seating area, sofa, and a spacious bathroom. The listing also advertised a bath, which in reality was the small plunge pool outside. To make matters worse, the apartment was located on an unappealing back street and much further from town than expected. We voted with our feet and went elsewhere.
