Ruhig gelegene, gut ausgestattete Wohnung zentral in Montalcino

Schneller und super pünktlicher Kontakt durch Valentina, obwohl wir unsere Ankunftszeit mehrmals verschieben mussten. Valentina wies uns kurz und unkompliziert ein und gab uns Tipps zum Parken. Vor dem Haus konnten wir unser Gepäck ausladen. Die Wohnung liegt auf 2,5 Ebenen wunderbar ruhig und trotzdem zentrumsnah in Montalcino mit einem herrlichen Ausblick nach Osten ins Tal. Die Ausstattung ist vollwertig, der Eigentümer scheint sich hier selbst ebenfalls öfters aufzuhalten, sodass es an nichts fehlt und die Einrichtung sehr wohnlich ist. Für unsere Räder gab es einen kleinen Platz im Freien an der nach hinten liegenden Mauer.

− Das Doppelbett ist ca. 1,20 m breit und hat eine weiche Federkernmatratze. Falls es einem Paar gelingen sollte, sich nachts nicht zu bewegen, ist es eventuell möglich zu schlafen. Wir konnten nach einer schlafarmen Nacht zum Glück ins Zimmer nebenan mit zwei Einzelbetten umziehen.

We had everything needed for a long term stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher and washer. Location was great!

− We weren’t as familiar with stove top/oven/fuse box but it all worked out fine. A short guide for non-italian speakers (eg what are emergency service numbers), might be worth having a flashlight available. But part of the fun was getting to know Montalcino on our own.

The view was as promised. There were three beds and it was in Montalcino near downtown.

− House layout odd. Second level had a rope hand rail. it was three stories with restroom on third level and a cabinet in stairs that you could run into. The house looked clean but smelled musty. The location was very difficult to find, and parking is available blocks away, not near the house. I had difficult communications with check in. my booking notices did not come in until my vacation was over so I called for help

Rustic apartment with gorgeous views from main bedroom. Host was on time and very helpful. Great for a nights accommodation.

− No kettle and stairs to bathroom were a little tight, it’s a small bathroom but it didn’t really bother me.

Nice location inside the city walls. Kitchen is well equipped.

− Information about parking is not true. The property does not have parking available near the apartment as advertised, you have to park your car on the other side of town, over the hill, 15 minutes walk. Toilet should be fixed.
