What a beautiful and peaceful cottage. Characterful, with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. Beautiful garden where we sat out in the obliging sunshine, watching and listening to nature accompanied by the lovely cats, and cows in the field beyond. Hosts Angie and Tony were kindliness and friendliness itself. Carrot cake and milk were very well-received, and thanks to Tony for helpful maps and recommendations. We loved it here - best nights' sleep we have ever had away from home, and we relaxed completely.

This place is simply a dream! We were very kindly received by the hosts, and they were very helpful all the way through. The house is originally two small cottages, but extended and rebuilt with two sleeping rooms and two bathrooms. There is a nice kitchen and access to a lovely garden with a view of the surrounding hills. It is situated in a beautiful landscape with many good possibilities to take a walk.

− Since we wanted to visit the booksellers in Hay-on-Wye, the distance to the city center may perhaps a bit too long for people without a car. Apart from that, the place in itself is so lovely that we would not hesitate to return when we wish to visit Hay-on-Wye again.

I didn’t !

− The facilities were very old. It was extremely tired and unclean. The bed was broken. The back door didn’t lock and there was an extremely funny smell.
