A tranquil escape in the middle of a busy city while having access to all.
10.0Fantastic historical buildings and beautiful landscaping. An oasis in the middle of the city. Short walk to Vatican City. Best breakfast in our 3 week travels! Nice fountain to sit beside for breakfast.

Relaxing gem near the Vatican
10.0Such a beautiful, unique and peaceful place. Our room was wonderful - felt like we were transported back in time. Lovely furnishings and decor in a room that was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious with many choices available. The outside gardens are stunning and provided such a relaxing spot to come back to after a busy, long day seeing the sights.

A mixed bag
6.0Staff was the best. All very nice and helpful people from check in thorough all my stay. Also the breakfast was very good and abundant. Staff preparing and serving breakfast were also very nice. The common areas were quiet and lovely from the breakfast room to the garden. You really felt living the "villa life" there.
− The room didn't meet my expectations. Although the Villa is lovely, my room was at an adjacent building, which although on the outside had the same look than the manor house, on the interior was like an outdated apartment block. Not particularly atractive. My room, called Eden room, was very disappointing. Although it had a nice hand painted coffered ceiling, the rest of the room, including the bathroom, was like an outdated flat. The metal parts protruding from of the bed were a bit of a hazard in my opinion as the room was very small compared to the size of the bed, and I kept hitting my ankles with the metal bars. In contrast, the terrace was very big with a pleasant view. The mattress was good though. In my opinion, that particular room was overpriced. I can't say anything about the other rooms because I haven't seen them but many guest staying in other rooms seemed satisfied.
