We could not ask for a warmer reception. John and Miranda are wonderful people and they are wonderful hosts. We were welcomed with a gift of honey. John and Miranda went out of their way to make us feel at home and take care of us. The roads to the farm from both Heidelberg and Swellendam are good and the vistas are unforgettable. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets provided fantastic backdrops for family photos. The children fed the horses and enjoyed going down the zipline. We will return to enjoy what we could enjoy for a short while only. For those seeking a Winter get-away, this option offers a cozy space and even a lovely library of books.

− Looking at the farm and the surrounds, I wish I brought my mountain bike with me.

Honeywood Farm getaway

Amazing farm with beautiful views. We stayed in Lailas Cottage. Awed by all the antiques in the house. Lovely Gardens. we had the privelege of witessening a bird ringvinger by a bird expert. There was a nest with Amethyst sunbird Clicks.

− Update your website. Show more pictures of each Cottage interior. They are so neat and quint, with lovely antiques and views.
