Great facilities, quiet location, exceptional service.
9.0Upgraded room to include personal bath on the balcony. Room very well laid out to maximise space, with an amazing range of towels, hakata, coats and other items. Shower excellent. Traditional Japanese menu (Kaiseki ryuri) at the restaurant was good, only two choices of meal, but with a very wide range of choices at breakfast time. Staff very helpful, with local information on walks, activities, and getting around the area. Quiet location in a bay, with good walks up the hill and swimming on the beach. Small shop with some food and drinks, around a 15 minutes drive to the closest shop or restaurant.
− Hotel slippers very small, and uncomfortable to wear, need larger sizes available for taller guests. More information and menus in English or other languages would be helpful for non-Japanese guests. Wet towels (oshibori) not very fresh.
