Overall, we had a nice stay.

Beautiful location away from the Village. Loved the views from the dining room and back deck. The bathroom and kitchen were clean. Loved that it was pet friendly.

When we arrived the outdoor furniture on both the front and back deck was dirty and had not been cleaned in a while. A lot of bird feces and thick layer of dust on everything outside. There was mouse poop on the dining room table and in one of the beds when we arrived. A lot of dust in the house. Experienced allergy symptoms. We reached out to Dionne because the water was shut off and her voice mail was full. I sent an email and never heard anything from the property manager (still haven’t) but thankfully the water turned back on.

It is a charming wooded retreat

Very clean, everything works and size is good. The house is set in a forest and the neighborhood is lovely for walks. High elevation, well above the town. Beds are comfortable and furniture is good. The kitchen served well for cooking.

I didn't mind, but there are stairs to get from parking to the house. And the bathroom is upstairs from the bedrooms.

Fantastic Getaway

I loved the upstairs portion of this house. The living room, porch with a grill, deck, dining room, bathroom, and kitchen; fantastic layout and cozy. The heat was best upstairs and it was so nice to curl up and drink coffee while looking out into nature. It’s not directly on the edge of the woods, but still gorgeous views. Downstairs were the two bedrooms, and another porch to enter from parking the car below. The comforters were warm and the heater worked very well once you let it work for awhile. The kitchen was great for cooking small meals. The furniture is very comfortable and clean. It was easy to park, we only had one car. Plus the tv was set for streaming services like Netflix and Tubi. Overall, this is an amazing house to rent if you just want to escape for a few days and have slow mornings with nice neighborhood walks.

The bathtub could use a good deep cleaning and pipe refitting. It leaked through the second drain that’s right under the faucet. By just using the shower was great though, the water temperature was perfect and I love the water pressure.
