6.0We have been returning to Emerald Bay Suites for several years because we genuinely like this place. The location is excellent, Green Bay is just a short walk away, and the apartments are spacious. However, the sea view is no longer quite the same, as villas and apartment buildings are now under construction directly opposite the complex. Compared to our previous stays, there have definitely been improvements. The cockroach problem is largely under control—we didn’t see a single one inside the apartment during our six-night stay, although they can still occasionally be found around the grounds. The sofa has finally been cleaned.
− Unfortunately, some long-standing issues remain. One of the showers is still leaking (it has now been over a year). The management told us they plan to replace the entire shower after the summer season, well, let’s see. The terrace light also didn’t work throughout our stay. We reported it, but it was never repaired. The air conditioners also still have a strong unpleasant smell, which suggests they may not be cleaned or serviced regularly. Another disappointing issue was the lack of enforcement of quiet hours. On two consecutive nights, large groups stayed around the pool drinking, singing, shouting and even playing football until around 2:30 AM and 1:40 AM. This is a family-oriented residential complex, not the nightlife district of Ayia Napa, and we believe the management should do more to ensure guests can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. We genuinely appreciate that, for the first time, the management personally responded to our feedback and acknowledged several of the issues we raised. We really enjoy staying at Emerald Bay Suites and hope to keep coming back. With a little more attention to maintenance and guest comfort, this could easily become one of the best places to stay in the area.
A great place to stay
10.0Location is top, walking distance to the Beach and to the centre of Protaras in a few minutes. Clean, spacious and luxurious. Assistance as well was top all the times we needed it.

− 1 shower mixer wasn't working good, on the other shower the glass shower door wasn't fixed on thw wall (dangerous), the main entrance door of the app. was broken and very noise by only one appartment who was disturbing the hole complex.
