Tranquil, centrally located base camp to explore the midlands from.
7.0Location is very quiet and relaxing. It's close to the main road so very short amount of travel on dirt road. The hosts were wonderful and communication was prompt. The fenced-in chalet allowed us to leave our door open so our dog could move in and out without issues. The Fireplace was a life saver the first night that we arrived as it was FREEZING. Wood was provided at no extra charge.
− We didn't realise that there were stairs. The stairs were a little higher than normal so going up and down them was uncomfortable for us. This wouldn't be a problem for younger, more active people, but we are professional couch potatoes, so the stairs was an unexpected surprise.

10.0The location is stunning with access to the Lion River. The railway crossing to the property is just stunning and its accessibility to all the great Midlands spots is super.

− The cold weather. but the facilities made up for the cold with the inside fire place.
