Mesmerising views of Parikia but you'll need a car!

Lovely property with fabulous views over the bay, comfy beds and very well equipped. Spent some gorgeous evenings sitting on the veranda watching the boats. No aircon but there's a lovely breeze through the house and downstairs bedrooms are cooler. The shared pool is beautiful.

− The pool is shared with a few other villas which wasn't clear in the advert in booking.com. We didn't mind this at all as my son made some friends. However, the walk to and from the pool was a bit difficult for my mother, in her 70s, as either a VERY steep hill or lots of steps. No overhead shower - very basic bathroom which was a little disappointing having paid a significant sum to rent the villa. I have v long thick hair and was unable to wash it properly the whole trip. My mother also mentioned the property would benefit from a handrail by the stairs. It was unfortunate there were building works going on in the bay which blocked easy walking access to the beach. The beach club on Krios beach also played very loud thumping music. Can understand Saturday night, fine (we could hear it from Parikia!) but techno on a Sunday afternoon was a bit much. Spoiled my siesta. The club has pretty much taken over the main part of the beach and had mafiiso type guys guarding the parking area. They're charging €170 Euros for sunbeds with a minimum €250 consumption. Mum said even if it was €10 euros she still wouldn't want to go there! Very Mykonos, if you like that sort of thing. Car is a must, there are no shops nearby.
