Great stay close to the national park – peaceful and comfortable
9.0This lodge is very conveniently located close to the entrance of the national park, making it a great base for tours and activities. The property is well maintained and spacious, with beautiful bungalows surrounded by nature. It’s very quiet and peaceful – a perfect place to relax and feel comfortable after a day of exploring. The bungalows are comfortable and offer a nice outdoor seating area to enjoy the natural surroundings. Everything feels clean, well kept, and thoughtfully arranged. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very service-oriented. The food was good, and the lodge also offers support in organizing tours, which makes planning very easy. Overall, a calm and well-managed place with a great location near the park.

10.0Heel leuke huisjes met een fijn terras en bankje met mooi uitzicht op het woud waar de gorilla’s leven. In de zomer schijnen ze zelfs af en toe naar beneden te komen. Mooie tuin, direct grenzend aan het woud. Heel dichtbij - je zou t kunnen lopen - het startpunt van de trekking. De eigenaar heeft zelfs jaren als ranger gewerkt en kan je goed op weg helpen. Aardig personeel, prima eten en warme douche. Op loop afstand loop je met een gids naar de batwa community. We waren vooraf wat terughoudend maar het is echt een aanrader!! Heel authentiek en zeer interessant.
