The apartment was clean and comfortable. First, I liked that it is located in a quiet area. Second, I appreciated the large surrounding area and having shops and cafes nearby. I also really liked the rooftop terrace. Overall, the place is very beautiful, but there were some unpleasant moments.

− I didn't like that the shower smelled like sewage. There is only one power outlet in the kitchen, so you constantly have to switch the plug between the coffee maker, microwave, and kettle. There were no dishwasher tablets. They could have left at least one; this is standard in most apartments. I wrote to the owner about this, and he replied: 'Go to the store and buy them yourself.' Also, there was no shampoo or shower gel in every bathroom, despite there being three bathrooms in total. There was shampoo in some places and soap in others, so we had to gather everything ourselves. There were no individual sets. There were three of us, and we had to search the whole house for these items. There are speakers with an amplifier in the living room, but they aren't connected to anything. I don't see the point of having them. I wanted to play music, at least from the TV, but since nothing was connected, I couldn't. Additionally, many lamps around the house don't work. This is another downside. Finally, there were renovations happening on the first floor of the building, causing loud noise from hammer drills. This was another downside.

Location central but not too touristy, perfect! - Size of property, everything you need - Sunrise and sunset from the rooftop!

− It was fine for us but lots of quirky stairs not good for small children or older people

The house is really spacious, bright, and artsy. The location was super convenient, close to lots of bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. Plus, it's just a short walk to Piazza San Marco. We'd definitely come back! :)

The size and spatial character of the apartment were exceptional and it has a real design vibe. The rooftop views across Venice were fantastic. Great location close to the Zatterre, and some really lovely places to eat nearby in Campo San Margherita. The eight track cassette player with Demis Roussos was an added bonus.

− Not a deal breaker, and it still gets 10/10.... but a clothes iron would have been a bonus.
