− The room was not as described. Very old fashioned, poorly maintained. The hotel needs to be renovated and mattresses need to be changed.

7.0The ambiance, the breakfast, the friendly staff and the way the place was clean. The location is really great and I enjoyed my stay.
− The shower in my room really had little water pressure.
My stay at Forest Cottages was very pleasant and I would stay again.
8.0The staff was friendly, and this hotel has so much character. It is like an oasis in the middle of Kampala, with large trees and lots of plants.
− Lack of attention to detail with facility upkeep, such as old plumbing (loose faucets), shabby carpets on stairs, and unclean tables at breakfast. Two of the nights I was there, there were very loud events on the grounds, but the noise ended by 10:30pm.
