10.0Beautiful place for short and long stays. Nice garden in local village in nature. Monkeys, birds, and nice relaxing songs at night. Located in a none touristic area at the bush near to ocean and bus stop. Owner family very kind and helpful. Very good home made breakfast.

10.0I had the most lovely stay in Midigama. The house is tucked into a green oasis of trees and flowering plants. This made my mornings feel like waking up in a little garden. It’s only a five-minute walk to the beach, yet the place is wonderfully peaceful, even though shops and restaurants are just around the corner. My room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Every morning the host treated me to the most delicious teas. Fragrant, warming, and made with so much care that those quiet moments on the porch became one of my favourite parts of the day. The host was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. She made me feel completely at home. If you want a calm, green retreat near the beach with a warm, welcoming host, this is a perfect spot!

10.0Everything! The location is lovely, close to the beach but off the main road in a very nice safe neighborhood. The accommodation itself is perfect for a week stay, we couldve stayed longer because there’s everything you need! Most comfortable bed we’ve slept in so far during our trip in SL. And the pillows.. amazing. Everything was so clean!! The garden is beautifully kept and the host sweeps it in a lovely pattern each morning. I could go on… Host is super sweet, and even though her English was not super, we felt super welcome and at home. She even makes clothes! I bought a beautiful pant-set from her which she finished in no-time. We would absolutely recommend this place from the bottoms of hearts. And!! Almost forgot, she is an amazing cook. One of the best Sri Lankan food we had and wish we knew she had a cooking lesson :-)! So definitely do that with her! One of the best, cleanest, homeliest places we stayed in SL.
