− Not everyone like dogs it was difficult for us to relax come and sniffing us we couldnt swim i was uncomfortable for me and the property

5.0The rooms are big and have great sliding doors with mosquito netting. The rooms have a coffee station, small fridge, great clothes cupboard and air-conditioning. For my young daughter they provided additional bedding so we could setup the sleeper couch for her. There are a few undercover parking spots and other on the property parking and guests can access the property easily with their own remote control.
− The room smelt damp and of cigarette smoke. The guests in other rooms as well as the restaurant on the property were incredibly noisy! I had to go outside at midnight on night 2 and 3 and ask them to be quieter as some people wanted to sleep. The lodge owners nor staff did anything about the noise level, which I am sure was not only disturbing us. Additionally, because of the level of noise, we could not open the doors / windows at night which did not help with the damp/cigarette smell. The bath mat in the bathroom was not great and I felt not clean. Our room was not serviced the first day, I don't know why, but only on day 2 and 3. They have two beautiful ridgeback dogs whom were kept inside kennel cages under the garage for almost the entire time we were staying there.. I am not a fan of this kind of animal treatment and its not pleasant to arrive to.

10.0Everything about our stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. On our first evening, the owners invited us to join them for a delicious barbecue, which was a wonderful surprise. We spent the evening enjoying great food and watching the rugby together, making us feel right at home. The next morning, the owner kindly drove us to the Zambia border free of charge, even during the early morning rush hour. That level of hospitality and service is truly exceptional. The lodge itself is beautiful and set in a stunning location. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

9.0The room was well-appointed: spacious, clean and with modern fittings (AC, ceiling fan and remote controlled light). The bathroom is huge and also remodelled in a simple but lovely contemporary style. Staff were super friendly, helpful and professional. Generous breakfast with protein, juices, bread, yogurt and fruit and a coffee machine for self-service.
− There were noisy residents during our stay (not sure if they live there or we're guests) who would talk loudly right outside and near our room at ungodly hours like 4am. That was inconsiderate.

9.0I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The service from the managers is great, as is that of the entire staff: very attentive, friendly, and offering excellent value for the price. The place is even nicer than the already great photos on their profile.
