Great views but not accessible

We stayed at this property at the beginning of June and, overall, we had a positive experience. The house is exactly as shown in the photos, and the panoramic view is truly stunning. It was one of the main reasons we chose this place, and it definitely lived up to our expectations. However, there are a few things that future guests should be aware of. The sleeping area, which is built into the hillside at the back of the house, is very humid. We had to keep the dehumidifiers running whenever we were at home, and we even left the wardrobes open to prevent our clothes from absorbing moisture. The bedrooms also have only small high windows, so they feel quite dark and much less pleasant than the bright and spacious living area. That said, we have not stayed in any other properties in Lanzarote, so we cannot say whether this level of humidity is typical of this type of house on the island or something that could reasonably be improved. The biggest issue, however, was the access road. The house is located halfway up a hill and the final part of the road is unpaved, very uneven, narrow in places, and covered with loose sand. Even though we had rented a Jeep, we were unable to drive all the way up to the house. From the second day onwards, we decided to leave the car in the village and walk the rest of the way. We had read in previous reviews that access could be challenging, but we underestimated how difficult it actually was. Another factor was that our rental agreement with Cicar did not allow us to drive on unpaved roads, so we did not want to risk damaging the vehicle and becoming liable for the costs. Considering the price of the property, we believe the access road should be improved. The owner was very kind and genuinely tried to help us find a solution. Quedamos fascinados con la experiencia, es el lugar perfecto para buscar puro relax y el mejor destino para una escapada en pareja. El alojamiento tiene un diseño espectacular, todo limpísimo, una decoración preciosa y con el gran detalle de una magnífica colección de libros para leer. Su ubicación entre viñedos ofrece unas vistas impresionantes y es ideal para recorrer la isla (consejo: alquila un todoterreno para moverte mejor). La propietaria es encantadora, muy comunicativa y atenta a cualquier necesidad. ¡Excelente de principio a fin!

Finca muy bonita, decorada con mucho gusto, en entorno estupendo. Acceso dificil.

Finca muy bonita, en el centro de la isla, cerca de todos los puntos importantes. Muy bien decorada, amplia y cómoda. Buena atención por parte del anfitrión. El entorno precioso.

− El acceso y el agua caliente. La desventaja de que la finca esté en mitad del campo es que para subir hay que recorrer un camino lleno de baches, difícil de subir. Con un Fiat 500 en primera dicen que se hace, pero es complicado, mejor alquilar un 4x4 para subir con comodidad. Puedes dejar el coche donde el vecino, pero el perro que te está esperando no invita a bajarse del coche en ese punto. Respecto al agua caliente, la finca se alimenta de placas solares, con la desventaja de que si está nublado, como nos ocurrió a nosotros, las placas no son suficientes para calentar el agua.

excellent location, with views over the mountains and valley down to Arecife. Well equiped accommodation. Spacious. Interesting and useful set of books to look at.

− Chilly in the evenings and no heating. Property would benefit from a portable heater. Would be useful to open windows at the back to improve ventilation.

La ubicación es inmejorable, rodeada de viñedos con una vistas impresionantes. Absolutamente fascinada por la experiencia. Puro relax. El diseño es espectacular. La propietaria es muy atenta y comunicativa, siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros. Si quieres quedar bien con tu pareja, es lo mejor que he disfrutado en muchísimo tiempo. Nuestra estancia en este alojamiento ha sido excelente de principio a fin. Las instalaciones están muy bien decoradas y limpias. Ubicación perfecta para visitar la isla. Recomendamos alquilar un todoterreno si estás considerando alojarte en este alojamiento, además podrás moverte fácilmente por Lanzarote. Magnífica colección de libros a disposición de los huéspedes.
