Stunning boutique hotel in stunning location with incredible customer service. You need to visit.
10.0We have stayed in many 5 star hotels over the years and this one tops the lot. The small boutique villa ambience rather than large corporate hotel provides for a really special home from home stay. The attention to detail on service was incredible. You get allocated a private host and they attend to all your needs. The food is exceptional and for each meal you are seated in a different area of the villa. It makes you feel like you are the only guests and are given VIP treatment. Staff are very friendly and will take time to get to know you. The villa itself is very pretty, inspired by the greek island of Santorini. The beaches are glorious and most of the time we were the only couple on an enormous expanse of soft sand. Occasionally you see the local fishermen out catching worms from the sand or counting their catch with their families. Mozambique locals are friendly and you feel very safe. Included in the package is a day trip out on a catamaran and it takes you to the offshore islands for snorkeling and a picnic on a deserted beach. The views from the hotel are stunning. Even transport to and from the whole is arranged so you are in good hands the moment you pass through immigration. The little touches continued even after we arrived back at the airport our driver took us to the private santorini lounge and fetched us when it was time to go through to the gate. I would whole heartedly recomend staying at Villa Santorini in Vilanculos. We will return.
