1.0− The property was dirty and poorly maintained - we felt insecure - see photos - cracked ground floor window that would not shut. Only one shower photographed outside - insanatory. Property so poor unable to stay in it safely/comfortably We have complained to the owner and BCD . Refund requested so far not provided.

Charming stay in a rustic beach shack, perfect for families
8.0The property has incredible charm! We visited in the summer and fully made use of the indoor/outdoor set up and kept the concertina doors constantly open. It was perfect for us and our toddler, with a well stocked kitchen, and the best location between the beach and the local cafes and shops. We've fallen in love with Scarborough!
− Part of its charm is its rustic qualities. Some things could do with a bit of maintenance as there were issues with electricity while we were there (it wasn't to do with loadshedding and it was sorted pretty immediately the day after by Neil) and plumbing (the sink tap couldn't be turned off, but eventually managed it by alternatingly turning on the bath faucet and the sink faucet until flow stopped). It also wasn't clear which rooms were going to be available to us as the first photos you see on booking.com are of the studio, but we were actually booked into the bungalow.
Really enjoyed our stay and wish I booked for longer!
