Great location but extremely poor value for money as the place is unloved, and badly provisioned.

The location is amazing. The house has uninterrupted views of the sea, and up the hillside. While there are other villas around, they don't impinge on the privacy in the villa. The internal spaces are large and elegant.

− The house is un-loved. A broken sound system, with wires hanging out, was distributed around the sitting room. The outside spaces were poorly provisioned; a major problem was that there was nowhere for more than 5 guests (the villa sleeps 10) to sit in the shade outside on the main verandah. There is NOWHERE to lie on the sun loungers in the shade. No parasols. The surrounding land dry and unirrigated, the outside spaces are rough and barren, unwelcoming. Also, the electric sockets in the main living areas were not working, there was very little side lighting. No cocktail glasses in the kitchen. No cheese grater! Generally, a great space, but badly provisioned and unloved, making it very poor value for the €27,000 we paid for 5 nights!

− The villa itself and the swimming pool were disgustingly dirty. Bed linen in every room was washed out with filthy spots on it, with no chances to remove the stains. The towels were very old, stained and it was disgusting even to touch them. Bathrooms were absolutely empty, even the soap and cups for dental supplies were missing. In the bathroom somebody else's old things. Not a single air blower worked, nor did the safe and half the sockets in the house. The kitchen was in disgusting condition, the stove was worn and had scratches all over, there was dirt in the corners. The dishwasher didn't work - it displayed an error that required repair. The water faucets and sockets were covered with limescale. The dining table outside was dirty and stained as well, and stray cats sat and lay on it without the slightest hesitation. We got tired of driving them away, we couldn't leave the plate even for a minute. The floors were so dirty that your feet and socks went black once you walked a few steps. Knowing that little children are coming, can you allow such a negligence? We had to leave this villa the next day. Request to return the payment for the remaining days the villa owner and Booking denied.
