All in all we enjoyed our stay very much!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The apartment looks great and the terrace is even better. The space is perfect for a couple. The position is also perfect: close to Orta San Giulio but just outside of all the touristy madness. Check in a check out were easy.

− We don’t want to sound negative but just give some constructive criticism to make this apartment even better. Some small things could improve the experience so much more: some extra kitchen linen and towels, a hanger in the toilet and actually working small lamps on both bedside tables. We also suggest something gets done about the humidity: we understand the climate is what it is this time of the year and that this place is not constantly lived in, but the faint smell of humidity in the drawers and on the towels, for example, as well as the wet patches on the bathroom walls, can be a bit off putting.

Peaceful, secluded getaway

Beautiful, quiet lake area. Comfortable bed and pillows. It was nice to have a full kitchen and use of the patio. Safe, peaceful, and restful. We loved walking to/around the town of Orta San Giulio and the Isola. It was very peaceful and relaxed, not as touristy as other places.

− The gate was hard to open and close. Also, the electrical breaker flipped off one night, which was inconvenient, but the host answered a text to help us find the switch. This region is amazing for a quiet getaway, but would be better for people arriving with a vehicle (instead of on the train, like us). Orta doesn't have transportation options (one family has an expensive taxi service, there are a few trains a day, and the boats to and from the small island). The apartment is a 25-minute walk from the train station (not fun with luggage).
