I stayed at Charles Heritage for one night during my solo trip to Kerala. I chose this property because it is conveniently located close to Kochi Airport, making it ideal for minimizing travel time before my flight. Though the property is relatively new to the public, I was drawn by its beautiful photos, and I am so glad I chose it. From the moment I booked, Stevin, who owns and manages the heritage property, was in constant contact, making sure I had everything I needed, including the right directions. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly made the stay exceptional. The property itself is breathtaking. Surrounded by nature and set in a peaceful upscale residential area, the house offers the perfect balance between modern amenities and classical charm. The heritage home, over 80 years old, has been masterfully transformed into a neo-classical gem, blending new technology and fittings with its rich historical setup. The spacious house includes three bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, a dining area, and expansive corridors, all for complete privacy and comfort. There’s even a beautiful stream and natural pool nearby, adding to the serene atmosphere. Despite the modern renovations, every inch of the classical setup has been preserved, creating a harmonious blend that is rarely seen. Stevin and his family live nearby but ensure the heritage property remains entirely private for guests. As a solo traveler, I found it the perfect retreat, but it would also be ideal for larger families. Stevin also arranged meals for me, as I wasn’t cooking, and even offered accommodation and food for my chauffeur. His warmth, kindness, and professionalism are something I deeply appreciated. Overall, Charles Heritage is not only a fantastic place to stay, but it also offers an unforgettable experience. If you're heading to Munnar from Kochi, or vice versa, it makes for a perfect pitstop.
