Great basecamp for discovering Haweswater. A house is small but the beds are very comfortable. There is a good Coop in the village where you can buy everything and cook at their gas hob.

− You may feel cramped sitting at that table under the ladder, but we fit there. Kitchen: all the knifes desperately need sharpening, and there are only 3 forks and no more.

Spacious and in a quiet area.

− I wish they had a better area to let dogs out, their isn’t a safe back garden but also at the front garden the gate isn’t safe, my dog could fit through the gaps on the gate.

Fellside Cottage was wonderful to stay in. A cosy, tidy, tasteful cottage in a fantastic location to reach all of the Eastern Lakes, and many of the attractions around Penrith and Kendal.
