8.0Great basecamp for discovering Haweswater. A house is small but the beds are very comfortable. There is a good Coop in the village where you can buy everything and cook at their gas hob.
− You may feel cramped sitting at that table under the ladder, but we fit there. Kitchen: all the knifes desperately need sharpening, and there are only 3 forks and no more.

7.0Spacious and in a quiet area.
− I wish they had a better area to let dogs out, their isn’t a safe back garden but also at the front garden the gate isn’t safe, my dog could fit through the gaps on the gate.
Would recommend
10.0Fellside Cottage was wonderful to stay in. A cosy, tidy, tasteful cottage in a fantastic location to reach all of the Eastern Lakes, and many of the attractions around Penrith and Kendal.
