Nice location, nice property.

The house was spacious and comfortable. The location was great for bushwalks.

− I was disappointed that the 2 bathrooms turned out to be one bathroom and one additional toilet. I booked the place because it had two bathrooms which we needed for six people. There was a floor plan but it was hard to see if the second so called bathroom had a shower. Tea and coffee was provided but no milk, which is unusual. It would have been nice to make a cup of tea on arrival. It would have been great to have kindling to get the fire place started, maybe that can be provided for future visitors. There were however a lot of rules and regulations about what we can and can't do and how to leave the place which we adhered to.

Lovely home for a quiet relaxing stay.

Very pretty location, nice and private. Cottage well laid out and roomy. The Gardens are lovely. Close access to the Charles Darwin Walk. make the 20min walk to the Conservation Hut Cafe for breakfast. Beds comfy with nice linen and quiet rooms.

− Despite booking through Booking.com (who has all my contact details) -making full payment upfront with no cancellation allowed- another booking agent then contacts you requesting scanned copies of credit cards and Identification. The WiFi password never worked. There was no iron, yet there was an ironing board. Only a single key to operate about 4 external doors - so if you need to escape your bedroom you will need to find the single key (This completely messed with my FireFighter husband's brain) Level of cleanliness left a little to be desired, the cooktop was dirty, the cutlery drawer crummy and most windows had webs and dead bugs on the inside, the main areas like the bed and bathroom were fine though. Whilst there are some kitchen consumables like salt pepper and oil if you want a cuppa when you arrive byo milk and I couldn't find washing powder if you need to do a load of laundry.
