Daniela & Markus The homeowners went above and beyond—picking us up at the bus stop around 9:40pm when we arrived, which was such a kind gesture. They were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The view was spectacular and the atmosphere truly peaceful. The location was perfect, with easy access to transportation and everything we needed close by. We are so thankful we chose this place. Thank you for everything!

Great view

− That it was a shared accomodation and only told after the booking was confirmed and not told we could cancel without any fees being deducted. We locked our room and on our return Daniela stated to my husband that there was no need lock our room, which begs the question how did she know the room was locked in the first place unless she tried to enter it without a response when knocking? The bathroom is not an ensuite , but in the communal area, so although only we used it, it is situated right in between all of the rooms, so not private at all. We were never told we could use the lift, so had to carry the bags up a steep flight of stairs.

Our stay at Lakeside was as beautiful and captivating as the terrace view itself :)

Our stay at Lakeside beginning of May 2026 was as beautiful and captivating as the terrace view itself. Daniela and Markus gave their best to make us feel cozy and welcome. On top of it, they shared useful tips that enabled us to seize the day in Lucerne area far more than we could achieve if targeting several well advertised locations as we initially planned. Thank you, until the next time :)

The view was exceptional. Like really. We've been all around Europe but this was something out of a fairytale. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The house had every amenity you could ask for. Super clean!!

− We went backpacking, so we didnt have a car. The walk to the house was uphill, but the way there was also scenic (5-10 minutes walk from the nearest busstop)

Location of the property is excellent

− It was advertised lake view room, but the only room which was open, there is no lake view from the room. Lock box code should have been given me when I booked, not when I left USA as almost every one will not use USA phone but will buy local SIM card. Lock need to replaced as one can only open or lock with little twice. I am 74 years old and with heart problem, it was nightmare for me to climb 46 steps and bring all 4 suit cases up though lift is there at the property, but land lord says that use of lift is only available when he is in the property. Air bnb sign board should be clearly visible, at the moment it is hidden behind the plant. Wi-Fi pw should also given when I booked , not a day before when I do not access my emails due to the fact I use only local phone. If possible land lid should have enough lighting on stairs as it is very dark and it is not safe for an old man, since use of lift is prohibited unless owner is present at the property. There is no doubt, property is excellent and with a very good lake view, but the room available to me was not a lake view though it was advertised that it is a lake view room.
