Le calme

− Hôtel fermé à notre arrivée à 18 h. Nous avons fait appel à la population pour nous aider à trouver les propriétaires à qui nous avons téléphoné 5 fois sans qu'ils ne répondent. Aucunes excuses. Ensuite en guise de repas pizzas surgelées et immangeables au tarif exhorbitant. Très mauvais rapport qualité prix.

− No había aire acondicionado, en verano es totalmente necesario. Nos prestaron un ventilador pero la habitación estaba a una temperatura tan alta que fue imposible dormir.

Wonderful hospitality at a simple but very comfortable hotel in a beautiful location

I booked this hotel as part of a road trip across western France and Spain and this was a two night stop off between San Sebastian and Ainsa in the Spanish Pyrenees. I wanted a simple place to stay and OsTablaus fully met my expectations. Kira and Agus, the very lovely owners, explained that they had only taken over ownership of the hotel a week previously but I'd never have guessed that. Their welcome and hospitality were exceptional. While the bar and restaurant were officially closed on my first night Kira and Agus laid on food and drink including delicious homemade croquetas and cold beer. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. Communication the day before I checked in was very good. The hotel is located in a beautiful and peaceful small village. It is about 20km down what is a 'dead end' road (unless you fancy the mountain tracks) but the seclusion is part of the charm. This road is a very good road to drive on. The hotel is in a great location for hikes from the door into the Sierra de Santo Domingo.

− Nothing at all. Air conditioning would have been nice :) as I stayed during the July 2026 heatwave and it was close to 40 degrees during the day. But this is not a complaint or dislike and Kira and Agus plan to install A/C in the future. The room had a fan so I had no problems keeping cool at night.
