Located on a private residential estate, so it is quiet and peaceful and the communal grounds are very well kept and attractive. The apartment was very clean and attractively decorated, and the kitchen was well-equipped. My husband currently has a bad back, but we both found the bed to be comfortable and appreciated the quiet ceiling fan when it was a bit warmer in the night. The apartment is light and bright with views of trees outside. The welcome gift of milk and cake was much appreciated, as was the inclusion of basic tea, coffee and sugar (which I forgot to pack.) Wifi was great and password was clearly visible. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the marina and a little further on is the Garddfon Inn with beautiful views across the Menai Straits. My husband likes to walk in the morning, so being able to get straight onto the coastal path from the property was great. We would happily return to the apartment.

Don't be put off by the grey concrete austerity of the stair well; after all, it is only for access! Personally, I would have liked a little outside space, like a balcony, but I knew that wasn't going to be possible, but I could have easily taken a drink and my book out to the communal area where there was an attractive slate wall for seating under some trees. I used the coasters from the dining table on the coffee table, but some extra ones on the coffee table would stop thoughtless people ruining your newly polished top! Final, little point...I missed having a mirror directly above the chest of drawers in the main bedroom to fix my hair, and although there is the long mirror next to the drawers it was too close to the wall/window for me to do my hair easily. Definitely not a major concern though!
