10.0The staff was a really nice old couple, they spoke English well, were kind and helpful. The experience was one of the top points of our 1 month holiday in Japan. Both the city and the Ryokan were like from a magical tale.

Great, affordable and comfortable Onsen hotel.
10.0This small hotel was perfect for our family of three. We had a large room with a private bathroom. It is right across from a delicious bakery, ramen shop and public onsen 3. The private onsens in the property are awesome! The couple that runs this hotel went out of their way to welcome us and make our stay comfortable including rides to the snow monkey park, coin laundry place and train station. We lived our relaxing time in Shibu Onsen.

4.0Todella mukava palvelu ja kaikki oli valmiina. Hyvä kuljetuspalvelu eri paikkoihin. Iso plussa tilavasta huoneesta ja hyvästä sijainnista. Hyvät patjat. Onsen 9 bath kylpylä oli mukava. Henkilökunta oli koko ajan valmiina palvelemaan.
− Aamiainen piti olla molempina päivinä mutta ei tuotu kumpanakaan!! Olimme tilanneet aamiaisen. Sisäänkirjautuminen oli todella hankalaa aluksi kun ei tiennyt mihin piti mennä. Lisäksi auto jolla meitä kuskattiin oli aivan liian pieni kahdelle ihmiselle.

8.0Kind, generous, and helpful hosts. Great location and price. Large room and we could open the windows. Loved the private open air onsen. They offered us rides to the monkey park and train station which was so helpful.
