5.0If you looked past the rubbish bins from the pub that were right in front of the cottage then the view was great.
− Unfortunately the living room area was full of dog hairs, on the floor, cushions,sofa. You only got a decent view when you stood up and looked out, sat down you could only see the trees across the bay. One of the windows which would have given the best view whilst you were sat at dining table - the double glazing had failed - so not brilliant view. Didnt get sun in the garden until very late and wasnt able to use top of garden due to unsafe steps. Didnt use lower garden as again no sun and not great smell from bins.
Cosy stables cottage
9.0It's a lovely little cottage, cosy warm and clean and an enclosed garden,which has different area's to seat and great for sitting out at night.It's central to everything, not far from lovely walks around kippford through the woods to Rockcliff. The dog loves it Will definitely go back.

Stable Cottage Kippford
9.0lovely place nicely furnished great views comfortable central to Kippford. Everything as stated much bigger than photos. Lovely welcome hamper for us and the dogs.
− The garden could do with a bit of a makeover it is functional but needs a bit of TLC. Also the waste skips for the hotel / pub are directly across from the property and as it was hot weather it could get quite smelly although this is not a criticism of the property as we know this can't be helped.
Great self catering
10.0All of it , it was a home from home. It was very comfortable and the shower was fabulous, the kitchen well equipped. Great location. Plenty of walks in and around Kippford, lovely walk to Rockcliff though the woods,anyone would manage it. Diabete has some lovely shops must go in the red squirrel shop it is beautiful and lovely people who own it.
A very good stay. Recommended!

− Tricky parking (large pothole and ridge). No WiFi (IT SAID, but I did not notice!). Good mobile signal, though.
