An impersonal stay, and we did not feel welcome
7.0Very quiet and close to Bouddi National Park, but we would not book this accommodation again.
− The stay felt very impersonal, which is not what we expect from a private accommodation. There was no information provided about the surroundings. Our apartment had two internal doors connecting to the main house, and we heard noise from both sides, sometimes early in the morning and sometimes in the evening. We hardly touched the breakfast in the fridge apart from a few slices of bread, as everything was decanted into unlabelled containers, so we couldn’t tell the quality of the juice, jam or butter. There was no cooktop, only a microwave, which made even breakfast preparation quite limited. We asked to do a load of laundry because, due to the situation in Iran, we had to take a detour and an extended journey home. We were charged 20 dollars to use the laundry room, which felt excessive. We also wanted to use the barbecue, but it hadn’t been cleaned. Overall, we didn’t feel welcome. Everything was handled contactless due to COVID measures, which we found difficult to understand in 2026.
