Wonderful stay in a perfect location
10.0The location is excellent for day trips to Italy and Slovenia. It is also just a short drive from Villach and the beautiful Faaker See. It is quiet and has a village-like feel. Joachim was a wonderful host. He was very responsive, easy to communicate with, and shared many excellent recommendations for things to see and do in the area. The accommodation is very spacious and offers wonderful views from every window as well as from the balcony. It also has a private entrance, which provides a great sense of privacy and makes the stay even more comfortable.
− One thing we really missed was having window screens. When we opened the windows in the evening to let in some fresh air, mosquitoes flew inside. In the morning, other insects also came in. Joachim left us a mosquito repellent device to plug into the socket, but unfortunately it didn't seem to work. It also became hot almost immediately after being plugged in. I noticed other houses in the area also do not have window screens, not sure why this is a thing.
