Outstanding accommodation on Amorgos

Stunning! The villa is one of the best equipped villas we have stayed in. High quality of both furniture, bedding, towels etc. The warmest of welcome from host Irene and her brother in law looking after us, while Irene was away for some days. The layout means that the three villas have plenty of privacy despite being right next to each other.

− Not really a negative, but the downstairs has a bit odd layout. We were two couples travelling and had plenty of room. One of the downstairs rooms have limited privacy.

A jewel at Amorgos

Fantastic, comfortable and clean villa with amazing views, The garden is a jewel!!! After exploring the beautiful Amorgos we enjoyed our moments at the terrace very much. Irene was the most kind host and giving useful advices. We would love to come again!!!

The host Irene is wonderful. I have been renting houses in Greece, Italy and France for 20 years with my husband and sons and she is far and away the most helpful and responsive host I have ever experienced. She helped with sourcing extra cooking equipment for us (we were a big household), finding a taxi number on another island for our departure, telling us how to get to the medical centre and ringing the pharmacy on our behalf to establish they had crutches (I broke my foot partway through), and bringing various little edible gifts throughout our stay. Thank you Irene! The location is lovely - with a wonderful terrace where you can sit and look at the beautiful view (which is how I spent the week after I broke my foot!). You do need a car but it is close to the nearby port and beaches and the village of Tholaria is a short walk away. It is a wonderful traditional Greek village with many tavernas and a beautiful church.

− I think the guests that come are usually for a short stay of a few days. As a big group (7 people) for 2 weeks, it was a little challenging at times that there were only two bathrooms, one of which was en suite. Also one bedroom has a fan rather than air conditioning and it was very hot whilst we were there. But overall these did not detract from the holiday.

We were on a 5 week trip, and this was the best house we stayed at. Rooms, facilities, hospitality, all excellent. It is well positioned for both hill walks and drives to beaches. Every morning I walked into town to pick up fresh bread for breakfast. I want to go back.
