Nice modern apartment with great views and car parking. It’s a bit back from the main town but it’s only a 20 minute walk to the beach/ restaurants.

A Nightmare Stay – Constant Construction Noise, Poor Access & No Real Support from Host

− We chose this apartment because it appeared to be in a calm area, and we were willing to pay a bit more than other nearby options for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Unfortunately, our experience was completely ruined by constant, unbearable, and extremely loud construction work happening in the apartment directly in front of us. From 8 AM until the evening, including weekends, there was relentless drilling, hammering, and renovation noise that made it impossible to sleep, rest, or enjoy the space. Every time we opened the door, we were hit by dust and strong chemical odors coming from the apartment barely one meter away. This wasn’t just a minor inconvenience — it was a major disruption to our entire stay. Adding to this, access to parking was very difficult, as the road leading to the apartment is unpaved, making it a hassle to get in and out, especially with luggage or a rental car. We contacted the host multiple times before he took any action. Even then, his response was minimal and ineffective — he said he would warn the neighbors, but nothing changed. His replies were mostly along the lines of “I’m sorry”, with no real solution or support offered. Despite acknowledging the situation, the host refused a partial refund, claiming the disturbance was "outside the apartment" — even though it was directly in front of our door, loud enough to shake the walls. This response was incredibly disappointing and showed a complete lack of accountability. It also felt disingenuous, especially given that we specifically booked this apartment for its “quiet” setting. To make matters worse, the construction issue was not mentioned anywhere in the listing, which we find to be highly misleading. Had we known, we never would have booked. The situation got so bad that we even considered leaving early and booking a hotel just to get a decent night’s sleep. While the apartment itself may be decent, none of that matters if you can’t rest or feel comfortable.

The apartment was spotless, fully equipped, and perfect for our group of friends. The host was super kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
