Super cozy two-story cabin with great views. The owner greeted us and really helped us with details for five days of hiking. Hands down this was the best property/location we stayed at over two weeks in Patagonia. If a person was pressed for time, I would suggest flying into El Calafate for some “glacier experience” and then book about a week at this property up in El Chalten. You can actually begin some world class hikes right from this cabin!

Accueil charmant et efficace. Le confort absolu, literie confortable, grand séjour et cuisine à l’étage, le tout parfaitement équipé. De l’extérieur, la cabane n’a pas l’air finie, mais c’est un peu la règle à El Chalten. Très bonne situation par rapport aux restaurants et aux accès au parc.

Great location and host in El Calafate

Franco was a brilliant host. He advised us on the best way to do Laguna de los Tres. He gave us the most beautiful wine for my husband's birthday. It was wonderful to have the array condiments to use. He also picked us up from the bus station which was greatly appreciated. The house was well equipped and had amazing views from all angles.

− It was a little hot upstairs in the lounge area when it was sunny. We opened the window to cool it down. I would imagine that warmth would be appreciated when it is very cold.
