The location was fabulous, so convenient for lots of beautiful places such as Hengistbury Head, and Christchurch. James had thought of everything to make our stay a wonderful one. There was a kettle, coffee machine, toaster, fridge and many many thoughtful extras such as jams, chocolates, and soap. The outside garden area was the biggest bonus for both us and our dogs. It was just beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom and shower equally lovely.

So much more than a room.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Tucktonia and were genuinely impressed. The studio apartment was clean and beautifully presented, with much attention to detail throughout. It’s clear that the hosts have put a lot of thought into making guests feel comfortable and at home. Everything you could possibly need is provided, whether you’re staying for one night or longer. They’ve even included all those little things you usually end up kicking yourself for forgetting chargers, eye mask, a first aid kit and more. On top of that, there’s a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and everything needed for a simple breakfast. It feels like so much more than just a room. The little garden is an added bonus and a great place to relax with a bbq and fire pit too. Great location not far at all from the river with a short walk into Christchurch and less than half an hour or so to the beach. Very straightforward. I almost don’t want to recommend it because I’d like it to be available whenever we want to return! But it really is a fantastic place to stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Everything 😁 The amount of care and thought the host has put into the room is unbelievable. Welcome basket with slippers, sweeties plus there is cornflakes for the morning and so much more but believe me if you stay here you will feel as if you've landed in heaven. There is also a garden to sit out in as well, we will return for definite 🙂

Location. Tea/coffee and wine! Comfy bed and great garden for us and woofer. Facilities pretty good.

− Internet to TV poor cuts out and disconnects every few minutes. Shower head needs a clean as no power at front.
