Beautiful hotel with genuine warm and welcoming staff.
9.0Perfect location yards away from Alnwick castle. Fantastic, attentive staff. Great design throughout the hotel a really clever mix on modern and traditional. Dining area was great for breakfast, did feel a little soulless so we didn't dine there in the evening. Proper North East welcome. Great reception team, vey well thought out checking in process made us feel special from the moment we arrived.
− Only two faults, no easy way to open the fridge, just poor design. And the mushrooms were over salted on the first morning!

We Loved it!
10.0We absolutely loved it. We received such personal attention. Soon after booking I got messages and phone calls. Upon arrival the room was wonderful and with treats for our dogs. The room is spacious and extremely clean. The staff will try to attend to your each requests and they gave us tips and suggestions of what to do. We loved the restaurant where the staff is so friendly. The hotel has got all the amenities you wish and is designed with having people with mobility problems in mind. I loved the area and I really want to come back next year.
− Nothing that I didn't like. The only comment is that there aren't many parking spaces in front of the hotel but for us it was not a problem as we were out most of the time and later in the day when the castle is closed there are more parking spaces available.

10.0Beautiful hotel in an excellent location to Alnwick Castle, gardens and town centre. Modern, clean bedrooms with complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, bathrobes and slippers. Tea/coffee making facilities with fresh milk provided in a fridge and bottles of water. Excellent breakfast choice. Staff polite, courteous and friendly
− Restaurant quite pricey for an evening meal and service charge added automatically, which is discretionary but uneccessary when paying a higher price for food.
Very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely, ideally located small hotel.
