Everything we needed and fantastic hosts.
10.0Very welcoming and despite being small the cottage had everything we needed. The hosts were excellent and gave us some really good recommendations for walking and eating. Location great too without being too touristy. Highly recommended and many thanks to Claire and Kevin.
− Parking was sometimes difficult as the village square is small. Otherwise all good.
Süßes Cottage mit authentischer Atmosphäre
9.0Süßes, kleines Cottage in traditioneller Bruchstein-Bauweise, mitten im Ort am Dorfplatz, gleich neben der Kirche und doch sehr ruhig in einem Hinterhof gelegen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet inklusive Tee und Nescafé und bei unserer Ankunft fanden wir frische Milch, Brot, Butter und Kekse vor - sehr nett! Am Dorfplatz gibt es zwei Pubs und ein paar Meter weiter das hervorragende Restaurant Greenhouse. Ebenfalls in fußläufiger Entfernung liegt Roskilly's (Eisfabrikant, Restaurant, Schau-Farmbetrieb). Direkt vom Quartier aus gibt es nette Wanderungen und nach kurzer Fahrt viele mehr. Auf keinen Fall verpassen sollte man den Küstenabschnitt zwischen Kynance Cove und der Südspitze von the Lizard. Die Halbinsel Lizard ist wesentlich ruhiger und weniger überlaufen als die Orte an der cornischen Nordküste, was uns sehr gefallen hat.
− Die Matratzen sind etwas durchgelegen und sollten bald ausgewechselt werden.
