8.0Die Lage direkt am Fluss ist - besonders für Naturliebhaber - wirklich zu empfehlen. Die Unterkunft war sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht (außer Internet 😉)
− Im Winter ohne Heizung war es etwas frisch.
At least it was only for one night would not have enjoyed if it was for whole weekend.
5.0Good space and lovely situated at the river
− The noise coming from the Bar at night going on after midnight was very discomforting especially when you stay in the Unit directly next to the Bar. The mattresses on the beds should have been changed like 10yrs ago. Not comfortable at all. And the appliances, Plug in the kettle and the power trips. Also, the braai facilities could have been upgrade, was a total mission to braai on something when your meat continues to fall off as the grid is so uneven and the failed solution was to tie a new braai grid to the old bend and rusted piece of metal.
The ambiance and building is great and it is clean and neat; Potential to be a great place.
4.0The place was very neat and clean, and the management and staff were very friendly and helpful. The building and surrounding facilities are well maintained and neat and tidy. The units overlook the river, which makes the ambiance great. If they pay attention to some of the negative aspects, then it would be a great place.
− The double bed matres is worn, I slept on the single bed. The bathroom light is so bad, I battled to remove my make-up. There are no cupboards, shelves for clothing or in the bedrooms. I used the extra bed as a packing facility. There is no packing or shelving in the bathroom to store your toiletries or toiletry bag. There are no bedside lamps, or beside tables, once the main lights are off, it is dark. There are no cushions on the metal chairs at the dining table. Some two-point plugs would have been welcome. There are holes in the curtains. The place is extremely cold with no heating facility. The unit needs attention.
