We enjoyed our stay despite the negatives above and would return. The owners were approachable.
8.0The location was excellent for our purposes.
− The kitchen baking equipment wasn't all cleaned. The couch was not clean and is quite worn/tired.We walk inside with sox on and the floors were not as clean as could be desired. The fan was dusty. There were no microwave baking dishes at all. Is it possible to have wedges to keep front entrance doors open, in order to get luggage into unit without a series of heavy objects to do the job. There are no instructions on the operating system for the heating system. There is only one couch on which to sit. The chair provided is not possible to use. Only one key card left in the unit.
A lovely base for a visit
9.0Despite the good reviews I was a bit apprehensive about staying here. Part of a health club? On a business estate? Turned out I needn't have worried Very spacious, well fitted and kitted out, attractive & comfortable. Easy run gch & the luxury of a permanently warm bathroom. Excellent shower. We try to travel light but some places don't even have a couple drawers, hanging space or a bedside table but this place had plenty of storage space for out bits & pieces Plenty of parking. Quick access to all major routes & Hungerford itself We used the cafe & bar for breakfast - toast & tea - cheap, quick, well cooked

10.0I received an email a few days before my stay to confirm arrangements for accessing the apartment. I appreciated that as it was dark when I arrived. The apartment was clean, nicely furnished and had everything that I needed. The kitchen was well equipped, and had I wanted to cook a meal, it wouldn't have been a problem. The bed was really comfy. I was concerned on arrival that there wasn't a dressing table in the bedroom but there was a long lamp desk in the lounge which was perfect to use for all my lotions and potions. I didn't use the facilities in the health club but it is handy for anyone who wants to. I will be staying here again and would definitely recommend.
− It would have been better if I had remembered there is a cafe as part of the health club because the food smelled lovely as I left to go home!
