My son and I stayed at Broadlands Windermere Hotel. I can honestly say that everything during our stay was excellent. This place is 10 out of 10. It has an excellent atmosphere, with beautiful, bright, and clean room with little kitchen facilities, coffee, tea, healthy snacks and porridges. The bedding was the high quality and we had the best sleep. The entrance and little front garden is beautiful. It also has the best location, only a 5 minute walk to the shops and cafe. 25 minutes walking distance to the Windermere lake. There is a mini market only 2 minutes away. The family hotel host was an incredibly kind, friendly, and warm hearted person. We had an amazing experience overall, and I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back. Thank you! 🙏

Dawn make us feel very welcome and she even supply's snacks and coffee and tea facilities including bottles of water in the rooms . the beds, pillows and shower are really comfortable abd plenty of supply of towels and room very clean we arrived on a day when it was 30degrees ( extremely hot ) and dawn and kept the curtains close to keep the room cool aswel as given us a fan as we were staying on the top floor in a twin room which was very compatible had all upu need in a room. broadlands is idealy location and plenty of places yo eat and drink from cafes to bats but still very quiet to enjoy the peace facing a park and bus stop just at the end of the street which will take yoy down to bowness pier where you can get a boat to albumside. I would definitely be going back to broadlands again and would definitely recommend it but unfortunately its not for anyone that had difficulties with stairs as there is alot to climb but they do have hand rails and it help me to burn off the calories after my fish and chips and my bacon butties from greggs There also local supermarkets very near by even you run short of essentials like sainburys and the co-op. The only request that dawn askes is please respect dawn property by not bringing back takeaways into your rooms due to spilages and smells for other guests. And keep the noise down due to other guests sleeping if you return late at night . Personally I dont think thats a bad respect so we sat in the park on a hot summer night and enjoy our pizza. I look forward to coming back to broadlands again next july . Thank you dawn , for having us and it was a pleasure to stay at your loveky home. Oh also for guests that traveling by trains or bus you can leave your luggage at the tourist information for £10 a day up untill 4pm in their lockers which holds up to a very large suitcase .

− Nothing really , but some would say the stairs and it would of be better if we had 2 keys for to get in .but maybe if i had of ask im sure dawn would of given us another set .
