9.0Friendly, helpful host. Lovely property - like walking into a time warp with the ornaments etc - with thoughtfully and beautifully furnished room. All tea/coffee/biscuits etc present and lovely bed linen and towels. Delicious and well cooked breakfast in very characterful breakfast room. Location in Goathland stunning with free roaming sheep outside my bedroom window.
− Only niggle was that there's no reliable phone signal in Goathland (I already knew this) and had been expecting to rely on WiFi for work things, but the connection in the room was very unreliable. It seemed much better in the Breakfast room.

10.0Englefield Guesthouse was a hive of 60’s memorabilia once you entered its doors. The room we had one of the best we have ever stayed in. Exceptionally comfortable bed and very powerful hot shower in the spacious bathroom. Liz and her husband provided a beautiful breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. Car parking straight outside their gate shared by the many sheep which wander freely and make you feel welcome. Short walk along the green to the shops and if you are a heartbeat fan you will feel right at home. Historic Railway station at the bottom of the road. Lists of moorland drives to take to neighbouring places too.
