Homely, spacious apartment close to the shore of Balaton

Mediterranea Apartment is an excellent, spacious, modern apartment 10 mins away from the shores of Balaton. We really had a great time during our stay, the apartment was nice and cool even on the hottest days (even without using the AC), the kitchen has everything you can need, the living room is spacious and comfortable to use, and the bathroom is also huge, with a nice, decently sized bath tub. The apartment features a terrace where you could enjoy your coffee or a good book in relative quiet. The neighborhood is featuring similar buildings, and we never felt bothered by the neighbors in any way. Parking is also easy in the yard of the building. Krisztina, the host is extremely helpful and has been one of the most pleasant host we ever stayed with. The apartment already made our experience really nice, but her friendly attitude and responsiveness made everything perfect! Both Libás beach and major supermarkets are 10 mins away on foot. Tompos étterem, where we had excellent meals, is even closer, and I can only recommend to try it. The apartment is close to the outskirts of Keszthely, so if you plan activities traveling along the north shore of Balaton, or even within Keszthely itself (like we did), this is just the perfect base for you.

− Unfortunately, the bed in the bedroom turned out to be a problem for us. It was longer than expected, but also way too narrow for two adults. We kept bumping into each other at night. Also, the mattress is way too soft to the point of being uncomfortable, but this is a matter of taste. Our bed issues could easily be resolved by opening the living room couch, which turned out to be simple but comfortable, but still overall the bedroom could be made much more functional. No other complaints to speak of though.

Location is great. The host is very friendly.Also neiugbours.

− If you are travelling 4 adults, i wouldnt recommend, because you have one bedroom and for the other 2 is one sofa, and you have to make it every night, otherwise it takes too much space, and you dont have space to walk.And also because of comfort, i dont think its for adults. For the kids its ok.
