Excellent spacious apartment, but not ski-to-door

Property was clean and spacious, with lots of amenities (dishwasher and washing machine, and good size freezer) and storage. Two bathrooms, and showers were hot. Location was superb for the ski bus (btw it's not obvious but ski bus is an extra €20 per person for 7-days) and the village. Overall the property was excellent (but see primary caveat below). Despite the text length disparity - the positives significantly outweighed the negatives.

− This is a not a ski-to-door property - the property listing is entirely inaccurate and misleading in this respect. We purely choose the property for this element, but it's not true, by any stretch! Some issues with some of the electrics not working, but flick of a switch on the fuse box fixed it. No 'normal' oven - microwave might have had an oven function but we couldn't work it out. An extra sofa would have been good, but admittedly not much space to add one. Had to pay extra for towels and city tax (that cost is entirely transparent in the booking listing, and I know is a typical extra in Italy - but still a bit of a bind to fork out a bit more whilst there). Had a call from the owner in advance to collect the keys from the hotel. It just wasn't clear which hotel! It wasn't from the hotel immediately opposite the apartment; it was from a hotel that was only accessible by going back onto the main road. Once I worked that out, it was straightforward to get in. Receptionist at the key-collection hotel was useless though and entirely unhelpful (the hotel-owner was the complete opposite, and very helpful).

Good location, good value, spacious apartment. Master bedroom (ground floor) well equipped. Kitchen is well equipped. Hoover is provided so you can use vac bags

− Second floor room quite poor. The reading light is a fluorescent tube as you would find in an office, flickering and buzzing during use. There is only a single socket in the room, behind the door so anything plugged in gets hit when you open it (despite the listing saying socket by the bed). The lightswitch for the second bedroom is outside in the hallway for some reason, with no way to turn the light on/off inside. The bed had not been made as the owner had assumed only one was necessary. After asking was given stained linen to make the bed myself with. Ice outside the apartment was atrocious, and nothing had been done to grit it, leading to a few (fairly painful) falls. Steps up to the apartment were particularly bad. There is no restaurant nor ski room in the apartment; you have to go back to the road and along to find a hotel which provides both of these.

Posizione ottima, vicino al centro del paese ed agli impianti di risalita. Appartamento pulito ed ordinato, gestori cordiali e disponibili. Esperienza molto positiva.
