Jaharya is very friendly host and communicated well throughout the process. She quickly came to the rescue when the remote stopped working and when I left my phone in the bedroom; but only noticed when I arrived at the airport. She was awaken shortly after 6 AM and brought my phone to the airport. Definity earned the extra tip. She was a lifesaver. The apartment is large and has all the amenities of home with privacy in both bedrooms. Loved the convenience of ice cube trays. All the little things make it great and convenient. It was great making meals at the property. Nice having meals on the patio or to watch the sunset over the ocean. See TIPS on getting nice cross breeze. The air conditioning cools down the unit very quickly. Very safe, gated remote entry to parking and key code to access property when walking. Located in the ocean front of Kralendijk, which makes it nice for evening strolls and several restaurants nearby. TIPS: 1. GETTING HERE: The apartment complex is "Hausmann Follies". Google maps will take you the wrong way to a one-way at the front of the building. You need to enter from the back of the building. If driving from the airport turn onto Julio A. Abraham Boulevard (JAAB). If you missed the turn onto JAAB, at the first roundabout take the third exit to the end. Turn right onto JAAB. When the JAAB turns into a one-way, the yellow building is on the left just after the second speed bump. 2. BE PREPARED: Make sure you have Jaharya's contact information on your person or make sure all the parties staying have the contact information. I didn't have my phone when I realized on both times I needed to reach out to Jaharya. 3. CROSS BREEZE: Nice cross breeze when opening windows. To use the screens, pull down the entire length of the window and tip the bottom of the screen towards the window. It will lock in place. Note: Air conditioning is very expensive for the host. We would definitely stay here again.

Het appartement was lekker ruim en schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De locatie prima qua strand, winkels, restaurants alleen wordt er in de omgeving veel nieuw gebouwd dus wel veel bouw geluiden, maar dat hoort bij het opbouwen van het aanbod voor toerisme

This was our second visit and once again used Bonaire Choice Apartments because of its location and amenities. The full European style kitchen, ensuite bathrooms in both bedrooms, the large living space and the spacious outside deck couldn’t have been better. Easy walking distance into the downtown as well as easy access to the dive and windsurfing locations makes it an excellent place for a short or long term stay. The hostess is a lovely person and did everything to make our stay memorable. Have already booked for next year.

As divers this was an ideal location to dive sites, a short walk in either direction to restaurants the apartment is gorgeous and comfortable, and our host Jahayra could not have been more hospitable.

We enjoyed our stay at BonaireChoice apartment. We rented for a month and chose this location because we could walk everywhere (for boat diving, grocery shopping and restaurants) so did not rent a car. The apartment was clean, comfortable and attractively modern. We appreciated having the comforts of home and made good use of the large capacity fridge/freezer and laundry facilities. Jahayra was very helpful and arranged our travel to and from the airport. She stayed in regular contact and quickly addressed any questions or concerns. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio (but remember the mosquito repellent). The grounds are surrounded by a privacy hedge with beautiful flowering plants which gave us needed separation from the street. Despite being so close to downtown Kralendijk, we woke each morning to birdsong and had butterflies in the garden. We saw lovely sunsets from the nearby pier at Chachacha beach.

− The apartment is directly opposite the cruise ship terminal. There was a ship in most days during our stay. It was a pleasant discovery that ships arrived and left very quietly. As well, the street in front could be busy with traffic but not loud (with the exception of occasional motorcycles and the “Rasta” party bus coming to pick up cruisers).
