Ganz tolle Unterkunft in super Lage

Super Lage, waren für den Triathlon dort. Toller Kontakt, leider nur per Mail, wril wir sehr spät erst angereist waren und extrem früh wieder ausgeschenkt hatten. Alles wurde aber prompt, sehr nett und sehr unkompliziert per Mail abgewickelt! Die Wohnung ist top eingerichtet, das Bett sehr bequem! Gerne wieder!

− Wir waren an dem Wochenende da, an dem es 39 Grad hatte und nachts auch nur auf 28 Grad "abkühlte", da fehlte leider ein Ventilator o.ä. Das ist aber schon das einzige, was es anzumerken gibt!

Convenient, big space, quiet

The apartment is clean and well equipped with all the necessary facilities for daily living. It is also well located, and the staff are friendly. Although the apartment gets hot and does not ventilate very well, especially during a record-breaking heatwave in Darmstadt, the hosts kindly provided me with a fan upon request.

− While the apartment is well equipped for daily living, a stay longer than two or three days may become uncomfortable. I never once saw anyone working in the reception office. The apartment is only cleaned before and after you move out, which is fine, but there were only two small plastic garbage bags in the kitchen, with no spares, and no obvious place to dispose of garbage as it accumulated over the course of a week. I had to ask where to throw away my garbage and then wait for a reply. I then had to wait for a separate key to be delivered for the garbage room, only for it to be the wrong key. The induction stovetop seemed good, but I could not get it to work even after reading the manual. At that point, the burden of communicating with the host and waiting for responses had become overwhelming. There was barely enough toilet paper, and definitely not enough for two people staying there. All the keys to the apartment block are stored and collected in one large lockbox, which does not feel especially secure. After the whole fiasco with the incorrect garbage-room key and the ensuing communication around it, the host somehow implied in a message that I was responsible for another key that they had lost or could not find, which I did not appreciate.

Die Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Weltkulturerbe Künstlerkolonie Mathildenhöhe war sehr gut.

− Bei 36 °C war es im Appartment unerträglich heiß und es gab keinerlei Klimatisierung oder wenigstens einen Ventilator. Die Balkontür konnte man auch nicht offen lassen, da auf der ganzen Etage ein umlaufender Balkon ohne Trennwände existiert, so dass jeder Gast in andere Gästeappartments hineinschauen oder sogar hineingehen kann. Absolut unmöglich! Außerdem ist die direkt angrenzende Hauptstraße Tag und Nacht stark befahren ( leider hatten wir keine Information zur Buchung eines App. auf der ruhigeren Rückseite des Hauses ). Absolut nicht zu empfehlen!

Gute Lage für manchen Zweck iO

Die Lage allem voran war für unseren Aufenthalt ausschlaggebend.

− Bei sehr warmem Wetter auf der Sonnenseite im dritten OG ohne Klimatisierung - trotz und wegen unzureichenden Verschattungsmöglichkeiten war es schlicht zu warm. Sauberkeit war mittelklassig, es fehlte an elementaren Sachen wie zB ausreichend Toilettenpapier oder Haken im Bad und Flurbereich. Die Bäder sind oberflächlich renoviert aber bedürften grundlegende Sanierungen.
