Heating didn't work all day (and the last 2 days not at all)

House was clean upon arrival. Nice surroundings.

− The heating didn't work during the day (which was very inconvenient since one of us was staying at home while the others went skiing and we could not dry clothes etc). The last 2 days the heating didn't even work at all! There was no way to contact the owner, everything was very automated. The appartment was rather old and worn out. There was not enough room for everybody (6 persons) to sit at the table, so we had to set up another (very rickety) table. We were 3 adults and 3 children, but the 3 single beds were not all made (instead they made 2 double beds and 2 single beds) Since there's no place to dry or store skiboots, the hallway (inside the appartment, between the rooms) became wet and dirty. The driveway is very steep and slippery (on ice, snow chains are useless). Fortunately there was a bucket with gravel (but it would not have been enough for a full week)

The house was in a somewhat remote place, but was not a problem as we were driving around anyway every day. The apartment is not very modern, it dates from at least 20 years, but that has its charm. It used to be rooms rented separately with a common kitchen and toilet but now 3 rooms are grouped as a single apartment, but all rooms have separate shower which was really convenient. There is only one toilet but was not a problem.

− There was no ski room so we had to carry up to the apartment everything. Also the stairs to the apartment are outside and quite steep. We were lucky as it was not snowing when we were there, but it could be difficult to use the driveway when snowy. As for the parking we had to park the car on the lawn which is not that good when snow is melting and it is just mud. But fortunately we didn't have any problem.
