8.0The location is perfect if you're looking for real peace and quiet. The cottage itself is very cute and also provides everything you need for an extended stay. The pub right next door serves a great selection of wines and ales and a classic pub menu. We found the whole experience relaxing and comfortable.Lots of reviews I've read online moan about the cleanliness, but we found it clean and well presented. It's a thatched cottage, so expect some spiders!
− The cottage could do with a little investment in its decor and garden maintenance. The bath plug leaked so the bath needed topping up with water, which will be costing a fair bit in electricity for the owner. The price is also a bit steep for what you get!
One of our best holidays in Cornwall we have had. Blessed with superb weather, too.
