Great base for exploring the area.
9.0Great location close to town centre, the amenities and particularly the lovely beaches - also a good central base from which to explore other parts of the beautiful county of Northumberland. Plenty of space, a well equipped kitchen & good bathroom facility - steaming hot water at good pressure in the shower. No additional charge for our dogs was also a bonus.
− We found the sofa a little uncomfortable and the pillows on the beds were very lumpy. Probably as a result of economic factors beyond the control of the host, our stay was also considerably more expensive than that of the same weekend last year too, albeit at a different location.

10.0We had a lovely stay at the hideaway, the house had everything we needed and was decorated beautifully throughout. The beds were really comfy and the location was perfect, only a short walk into the town. We will definitely be looking to return

10.0Location was perfect for walking into town for a coffee, walking to the harbour and for meeting up with family in the local establishments. The place was decorated beautifully, with lots of home comforts, and soft blankets. The kitchen was gorgeous, and very spacious. The sofa was comfortable after a long day of exploring and the shower was wonderfully hot!

10.0Hideaway is a lovely pet friendly 3 bed house. Home from home. Clean and well equipped. Ideal location 5min walk to town centre and harbour village. Fantastic communication from booking to leaving. Highly recommend.
