10.0We had a wonderful stay at Cinque Terre, although we arrived in the middle of a local festival that carried on well into the night, so it was a little noisy. The apartment in Riomaggiore was small but very well equipped. It is in a fabulous position close to the station and the sea - and only one flight of stairs above the main shopping precinct, with a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Matteo was a great host who was waiting for us when we arrived and explained everything we needed to know. If you are going to Cinque Terre, we would definitely recommend staying at Matteo's place in Riomaggiore. Excellent.
