Good location but would not stay again

Good location, spacious, nice garden and balcony area overlooking trees

− It wasn’t as clean as expected, there was thick dust and dirt under all beds and sofas and cobwebs and dirt on the windows and in other areas of the house. Inside cupboards and draws were messy, felt like someone was just renting their house out for the weekend. The property says its dog friendly but charged us extra for cleaning claiming they had to clean our dogs hair off one of the outdoor sofas. I asked for a photo of the hair and the hair on the photo they went us was light coloured hair even though my dogs are all black and we do not allow them on the sofas at all and did not at the property. There are possums present at the property which we saw and when I when I said this to the property managers they just kept ignoring me and charged extra for cleaning anyway, despite there being signs in the house stating there are possums present. They claimed it took them an extra hour to clean some hair off the sofa and that we left the property in an unfit state even though it was not and I put the towels on a wash, put all the stuff away in the kitchen and dishwasher was put on and everything was left tidy. Not sure what more we could have done, we can’t be expected to clean the house when paying a lot of money to stay.

great position with easy access to beach & town. The amount of beds good , outdoor space very good

− No AC in bedrooms, main bedroom was very hot. Living area upstairs a disadvantage as it made it very noisy on timber floor, particularly for lower bedrooms Bathrooms very small & tight not well finished. Check in time late at 4pm At $1000 per night it wasn’t good value loved location

Beautiful peaceful place to stay and rest and reset after a competitive day in the xterra adventure race.
